Muslim Center of Detroit

Muslim Center of Detroit

Building Islam in Detroit: Foundations, Forms, Futures is a multi-media exhibition designed to present our research to public audiences.
It opened in 2005 at the University of Michigan s Duderstadt Gallery and was also displayed in the Law School at Michigan State University in 2006.

The exhibit was updated in 2007 and is now traveling to cultural centers and universities in Africa and Asia. After successful showings in Ethiopia, Pakistan, and India, the exhibition heads next to Bangladesh. In September 2008 the exhibition showed at the Muslim Center of Detroit during the month of Ramadan, (see photos at left).
